Review: Forza Motorsport 3 for Xbox 360

Has a rewind feature that is one of its most powerful tools in broadening its appeal and getting more casual racers into the game. Using it you can, at just about any time in a race, pause the race and rewind a few seconds. This means that if you happen to mess up one turn out of an entire race you won’t have to worry about getting last place and having to do the entire race again. That offending second or two is wiped clean and you can try it again, as many times as you’d like. To some this may feel liking cheating but to many it will be a great feature that takes a lot of frustration out of the game. It also takes some of the pressure off of a big race, which you may or may not like. What it doesn’t do is guarantee that you’ll get first every race. This is the case because as you progress races get longer and the fact is that you don’t lose a four lap, 15 minute race in one turn. These races (assuming your opponents are evenly matched to you) are won and lost one turn at a time, gaining half a second here and there. This means if you are out-raced on a long track you will died a death of a thousand cuts, not lose thanks to a single bad turn, something that is much more productive to becoming a better racer and understanding why you won or lost.
