Jackson TWP, Ohio -

On Nov. 20, Jackson Police received a report from a victim whose 2009 Ford Escort was vandalized in the 6000 block of Whipple. Person(s) unknown placed a substance on the car which made the paint peel.

Jackson Police are investigating an possible identity theft after a victim reported a driver's license and social security number were stolen. the complainant stated person(s) unknown removed those items and then attempted to obtain a driver's license with them in South Carolina. The victim added that she believes the suspect may have gotten another citation in Virginia.

Between May 1 and Oct. 21, a suspect is believed to have taken cash  payments for insurance policies. The theft was discovered when the policies started getting canceled by the insurance company for non-payment. The thefts took place at an agency in the 4200 block of Whipple Ave. NW.

Police are investigating a breaking and entering in the 4700 block of Everhard Road NW on Nov. 19. Person(s) unknown broke the front window of a business, gained entry and took change from the cash register.
